The first Saudi-Spanish restaurant in the Kingdom that opened in Riyadh last week, reflects on the cultural ties of the two countries, said Spanish Deputy Ambassador Jose Maria Bastida to Saudi Arabia while inaugurating the eatery.
“It reflects the depth of cultural and economic relations between the two countries,” said Bastida, who was the guest of honor during the opening ceremony of the Andalusian Palmeras Restaurant, which was attended by diplomats, businessmen and media representatives, besides Bastida.
Situated in the heart of the capital, it is one of the best Andalusian restaurants in the region, which offers delicious Mediterranean food whipped up by Ramon Dios, a skilled Spanish Chef, and his assistant chef, Endre Pocz, with Spanish soft music for customers to enjoy an authentic experience.
The first Saudi-Spanish restaurant not only provides delectable food, but also boasts unique architecture that reflects the heritage and civilization of Spain, said Youssef Al-Huzaim, the owner of the restaurant.
Some of the corners inside the restaurant have been named after several historical places in Andalusia.
The restaurant will operate under Nakheel Alandalus Co.
