DUBAI: In a mid-flight surprise for passengers, a woman gave birth to a baby girl on Lebanon’s national carrier, Middle East Airlines, this week.
The mother went into labor in the airplane’s bathroom, just after entering Iraqi airspace.

According to Lebanese media, the cabin crew helped the passenger deliver her baby because there were no doctors on board.
The Doha-bound flight was diverted to Kuwait, where the Filipina mother and her new baby were hospitalized.
