RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), has provided $20.5 million in support to hospitals and medical centers in Yemen. The support was in the form of medical devices, personal protection tools and medicines — in addition to operational budgets and training of personnel to provide medical services.
Since the appearance of COVID-19, it has presented several projects to address the outbreak, such as preparing and planning for a pandemic response, worth $13 million, in cooperation with WHO.
KSrelief supported the Yemeni Ministry of Health with their requirements of personal protection with COVID-19 PCRs tools, with $6 million.
