Vizeum MENA, part of Dentsu Aegis Network, and iCom, Integrated Communications Group, has announced the establishment of a new partnership in Saudi Arabia.
With complementary products and services and a shared vision, the alliance claims to aim at adding value both to clients and media stakeholders. The newly formed iCom-Vizeum will be an exclusive partnership, combining Vizeum’s global reputation with iCom’s local capabilities in the Middle East’s largest market.
Owing to the new partnership and just one year after launching in the UAE, Vizeum is now expanding its footprint in the Middle East with a second office. The new operation will service existing Vizeum clients Total and Honda, with a high priority placed on rolling out other network clients who are active in the Middle East and to jointly manage any global/EMEA new business opportunities.
Founded in 2005, iCom was the first fully owned Media Buying Unit in Saudi Arabia and has since become one of the most recognized and well established.
iCom has continued to develop, witnessing substantial growth in size and billings and signing a diverse client portfolio, including Saudi Arabian Airlines, Sadafco Dairies, and Mazda.
Nabil Bakr, CEO, Integrated Communications Group, said: “iCom is proud to have led the way in the creation of the first Saudi Media Agency and now the first global-local tie-up. Our partnering with Vizeum allows us to further develop this. As an international network, Vizeum will help us diffuse the latest knowledge from around the globe and provide best practice. Partnered with iCom, we can uniquely adapt and apply global knowledge to match market needs and dynamics.”
Anouk Bondroit, GM, Vizeum MENA, said: “The synergies between iCom and Vizeum are very clear and we are excited to open a second office in MENA with such a well established partner.”
