JEDDAH: Overseas scholarships encourage patriotism and are an essential part of the Saudi strategy to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in all fields, according to Abdul Aziz Al-Mugaishi, the Saudi cultural attache in the UK.

“These scholarships have helped deepen the student’s attachment to their homeland, and frame cultural relations between countries through the participation of various cultures from around the globe,” Al-Mugaishi said.

He met the second batch of candidates for the professional development program at Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
