- The fourth phase of the “Etaam” Ramadan Project aims to distribute 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries during Ramadan
DHAKA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently distributed 350 food baskets in Dhaka’s Lalmonirhat district, benefiting 350 families. The move came as part of this year’s “Etaam” Ramadan Food Basket Project in Bangladesh.
Additionally, the center distributed 19 food baskets in the city of Moadamiyet Al-Sham, located in the countryside of Damascus, benefiting 19 families and 98 individuals.
The fourth phase of the “Etaam” Ramadan Project aims to distribute 390,109 food baskets across 27 countries during Ramadan. This initiative will benefit 2,304,104 individuals, with the total cost exceeding SR67 million ($17.86 million).
In another effort, KSrelief recently delivered a gift from Saudi Arabia to Equatorial Guinea. The gift, which included 25 tonnes of dates, was presented to the president of the country’s Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Juan Zakaria Ondo, in the capital city of Malabo.
The contribution comes as part of the programs being implemented by King Salman’s government to support the neediest families in various regions around the world.
